Madharapakkam Village, Dr Ambedkar Asharam School and Residential School

Established in 1998, this residential school exclusively caters to the education and welfare of Scheduled Tribes (ST) children, providing education from standards 1 to 5. Supported by the central government, it accommodates around 100 students from the ST community. Unfortunately, due to unresolved land issues necessary for obtaining the Juvenile Justice Act 2015 certification, the school is presently closed.

Only upon resolving these issues and acquiring the proper certificates will the school resume its operations. During its functioning years until 2022, the school boasted a dedicated staff of 15 teachers, a warden, and a principal, all committed to nurturing the young minds of ST children. Plans are underway to enhance infrastructure for an improved learning environment. Embodying inclusivity, this institution stands solely for the empowerment and education of Scheduled Tribes, offering them opportunities for a brighter future.
